every year ... is World Children's Day. On 1 June to be exact. And let's face it, any of you have noticed it ever was in Germany? So I do not. So this year was my debut and went to rather good.
occasion this very day, we wanted the children of our center offers a feast at which there will be something delicious to eat and should be of course also played a lot. The last few weeks was therefore my work is to run behind people her / write / call so we can get pushed through the proposal to fund the party. It was rather stressful to coordinate the work here with me on my head than my German organization (was not because of the language). What made me very happy was that we not only hard on 1 June, get fully funded, but also two small parties on which it could take some children. In this respect, be ever a success. Without the funding the program can not take place namely, what kind of stupid then a first June would have been for the kids. I also noticed that it often here is better to "ask" but not always easy, "say" what is done. If I would have to always wait until my boss what absegnet or at all so busy ... then good night. There was also no bad that I have made it so, so I think it is legitimate to go over once the boss.
The festival itself was then very stressful for us but for the beautiful children. Especially as we spent the meals, I had rather the impression of being in nem Raubtierkaefig. Incredible! Absolute chaos! I knew this meal expenses up to now only from the camp and it really laueft harmoniously. One noticed that the children really have nothing to fear get more.
The last 3 weeks went by really fast too. There were volunteers from Cape Town and Malawi from there, so when I was at home at times a sort of backpacker. Then of course even the Bayern game was over and was really great to look to the CL final, I've seen at the public viewing, was a crazy thing there.
As we / I level in soccer am: The next Saturday we are going go to Durban! We are now driving the entire coast down to Cape Town and then with NEM train across the country to Jo-burg. Basically, we take with the German team. I think we NEN crazy horny trip But I will tell them in early July.
